Method
- Slice the onion.1 onion
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-low heat.2 Tbsp butter
- Add in the onions and dash of salt.dash of salt
- Sauté for 30 minutes, stirring often.
- Put the caramelized onions and remaining ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
- *If desired, leave some of the onions out while blending and then add them in after for texture.
